Dalia Astalos is an Associate Attorney at Hoffman & Forde. Her practice areas include Real Estate Litigation, Commercial and Residential Landlord-Tenant law, Personal Injury claims, Disability, and Insurance Law.
Education and Experience
Ms. Astalos graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with honors in English Literature. She attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where she interned for the District Attorney and Public Defender’s Office. After law school, Ms. Astalos worked for the San Diego City Attorney's Office in the Consumer and Environmental Protection Division. She then spent several years as a General Counsel for Developers and Property Managers before reentering the courtroom.
Ms. Astalos is passionate about representing the underrepresented and has particular interest in addressing inequities in healthcare and elder abuse. She teaches at the Cal Western School of Law Landlord-Tenant Clinic. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Lawyers Club, Women of Color in Law Association, and the Inns of Court.

Additional Information
Ms. Astalos is a published poet. She credits her strength in the courtroom to her theater experience at Torrey Pines High School. She is a dedicated mother to two high-spirited children.
